How do gin subscription boxes work?

To become a member of a gin club, you’ll typically sign up to pay a fixed monthly fee. In exchange for this fee, you’ll receive a box of gin-related goodies every month (or however often your chosen gin subscription box delivers) in the post.

Jon Hulme and John Burke, business school friends who met while studying in Madrid, founded Craft Gin Club in January 2015. They were inspired by their favourite Spanish-style gin and tonics and have appeared on Dragon’s Den, ultimately winning investment from Sarah Willingham, who now works closely with the company as a member of its board. It’s now the biggest gin subscription club in the UK and they offer gift memberships.
